Adam Noakes' work is not defined by medium or theme. It begins with an observation - about an object, a system, a moment in time - and follows that observation wherever it leads. Some works will be large. Some small. The only requirement is that the idea is strong enough to justify the thing being made at all.
There is no signature material. There is no recurring subject. There is only the conviction that the right idea, handled honestly, needs very little else.
